ABOUT LORNA
LORNA creates poetic, thoughtful garments, focusing on quality craftsmanship and natural fibers. LORNA pieces are designed to honor fluctuating bodies and often feature adjustable elements, giving the wearer both aesthetic and practical flexibility.
We approach fashion through the lens of fine art and aim to foster a sense of intimacy between the garments we create and those who wear them.
Lorna Dielentheis designs, drafts, cuts, sews, and photographs each and every LORNA piece from her home studio in Burlington, Vermont.

MEET THE MAKER
Lorna Dielentheis (she/her) is an artist and lifelong sewist. After a career in fine art and illustration, she shifted her professional focus and decided to launch LORNA in 2023.
In college, Lorna worked for the school’s costume department, where she was first exposed to pattern-making, fitting, and advanced garment care. She was fascinated by the drafting process and completed an independent study in pattern-making. In the decade since, she’s continued to sew clothing and study pattern drafting independently while pursuing other career paths.
Lorna maintains a visual art practice and takes on limited illustration clients, her work is displayed on her personal website and instagram.
In her free time, Lorna is outside birding, kayaking, reading, identifying plants and wandering the woods in search of meaning.
