FAQs
HOW LONG DO MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES TAKE?
Made-to-order pieces take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. If you need a piece by a certain date, you are welcome to contact us, though we cannot guarantee a quicker turnaround.
WHY ARE LORNA PIECES SO EXPENSIVE?
The short answer is, they aren’t. Most clothing production involves exploitation at some level, so the norm is skewed. For example, each museum top takes ~7 hours to make, start to finish. Almost a third of the price will go to small business taxes. The cost of the high quality linen we use is nearly $20/yd. Before the production of a piece comes hours upon hours of designing, testing, and grading. After the pieces are created there are hours of work photographing and marketing. Then there are overhead costs like website fees, equipment maintenance, etc.
SHIPPING?
We ship pieces at least once per week through USPS. All pieces are shipped with tracking. Please double-check the address you provide, as we cannot be responsible for wrong addresses.
RETURN POLICY?
Please consider your purchase carefully and only buy a piece if you really want it! We only accept returns in the case of defective or damaged pieces, and we inspect each piece carefully before shipping it out. Of course if there is anything wrong with the fit of your garment or you don’t love it, please do reach out.
WHAT SIZE AM I?
We recommending following our size chart to find your correct LORNA size. We have created our own size numbering system that makes more sense to us than the relative and subjective size labels used in traditional alpha sizing. If you’re still unsure about your size, just ask! We are always happy to recommend a size based on your measurements and proportions.
YOU DON’T CARRY MY SIZE!
Size inclusivity is important to us, so we offer made-to-order extended sizes (through 5x). Read more about it on our sizing page, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns.
